I'm interested. I hope this gets broadcasted on SPEED- Oh wait. Nevermind. It's not like they'll broadcast lots of races like they used to back then.

I miss the early SPEED days. I would watch CASCAR all summer long...RealRacer4 wrote:I'm interested. I hope this gets broadcasted on SPEED- Oh wait. Nevermind. It's not like they'll broadcast lots of races like they used to back then.
I'm actually interested in how this will work out. Hopefully they'll bring the Nationwide Series back to Mexico.

Yeah, shows about car building and such take precedence over racing... but at least its somewhat related unlike some channels and what they do (MTV having nothing to do with music videos, History Channel doing stuff on space aliens and the future, etc.)

They should just call it "SPEED...Sometimes!".

I quite enjoyed the throwback race documentaries that were hosted by David Hobbs and Bob Varsha. They showed the first Sandown V8 Supercar Series Race, British Touring Car races, old Formula 1 races from the 60's and 70's. CART races.
I also enjoyed F1-decade. Where they showed the coverage of races that happend a decade before. This was the first time I heard the Ferrari V12 engine.

Why? I think it's a good thing seeing Mexican drivers show off their talents to the country you live in if they air it on SPEED.

So just because the Canadian Tire series doesn't run in the US, The Corona Series shouldn't run either? Sorry, but I find that silly. By that same silly basis, None of NASCAR's main series should run anywhere outside the US, and yet they have more then once.

They need to get that series some exposure, Canada series got some exposure running with Nationwide at Montreal so why not Mexico series?AntmanB wrote:Mexico series in the us is not a good thing.

Really...... lol. Canadian Tire Series doesn't run in the U.S. because they have no reason to, they already have a million short tracks and a handful of great road courses to accommodate their schedule. The Mexican series has one decent road course and a few poorly made ovals that are fatalities just waiting to happen because of how they're designed.
Now, why again shouldn't they try Phoenix?

Plus, you're running in a city with many Hispanic residents.
