The one thing that bothers me the most is that they still have Bahrain on the schedule. Aren't there still protests going on? Anyway, I'm glad to see that New Jersey is on the provisional schedule for the 2013 season. I haven't heard anything recently on the current status of how the street course is doing, but the fact that it's on the provisional schedule is a good sign.

I think the Spanish GP maybe sharing tracks of Barcelona and Valencia, it's like the same thing with the German GP with the Nurburgring and Hockenheim.

The Spanish GP is alternating with Valencia and Barcelona. I'm really disappointed that Paul Ricard is not on the schedule. It is, in my opinion, the best track to visit; the facilies there are fantastic. Additionally, the Korean and Singapore Grand Prix are still awaiting confirmation, likewise the Port Imperial GP.

Re: 2013 provisional F1 calendar released
Bahrain will remain on the schedule as long as the royal family continues to pay for it to be on the schedule
As far as the US races go, I'm still skeptical about them lasting long. Since the days of the Glen, the US hasn't been able to make a race last. I still anticipate the Austin track owners to go bankrupt when Bernie raises the sanctioning fees, and the New Jersey organizers to get tied up in red tape along the way.

Since they made the changes to the cars. Bahrain is a watchable race now, so from a racing standpoint, I'm ok with it back on the schedule (political reasons though are different)
