Italian Grand Prix - Formula One
F1 returns for back-to-back Race weekends in arriving in Monza, Italy for the running of the Italian GP. With it's very long straightaway's, the DRS might play a big factor in the outcome of the Race.

Re: Italian Grand Prix - Formula One
Given how strong Button was in Belgium, I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls out another win, especially considering he's got 3 2nd place finishes on the bounce at Monza.

Sutil and Hulkenberg are supposed candidates to replace Massa in the second Ferrari seat. Hulkenberg has supposedly already signed an agreement with Ferrari, and Sutil (who was convicted of a bar fight with Eric Lux, the Renault Lotus owner) has said he has the ability to consistantly score points and feels he matches the criteria for Ferrari.

That would be pretty neat. I would love button to go on a winning streak from now on, snatch the title and run off with it.(unfortunately it's not that simple)RetrogradeRenegade wrote:Given how strong Button was in Belgium, I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls out another win, especially considering he's got 3 2nd place finishes on the bounce at Monza.

I'm honestly surprised by both names, Sutil kind of fell of the face of the earth and Hulkenberg has done good....but i'm surprised Ferrari's considering him. Honestly though Perez would be all but confirmed for Massa's seat.Milan655 wrote:Sutil and Hulkenberg are supposed candidates to replace Massa in the second Ferrari seat. Considering Montezemolo was railing against Perez for not being experienced enough, I highly doubt they'd take Hulkenberg first, when he has the same level of experience, and really hasn't made much of an impression until the last few races. Sutil is a definate maybe though; obviously he'd jump at the chance of a Ferrari seat, even if it's only for a year, and he did an admirable job for Force India. He'd be a pretty good stop-gap measure until Montezuma's happy with Perez.

Comparing 1966 Monza to 2007 Monza. The 1966 Monza clips, and the man walking down the straight, are from the 1966 movie 'Grand Prix'.

They didn't exactly have a choice, though.

Yeah but he's been out of the top 10 all weekend, and last week he didn't make Q3. The mid year did not do RBR wonders.RetrogradeRenegade wrote:Spannerhead29 (Nelson) wrote:Practice 3: The only time I roll Vettel he's slow as $hit.

I was waiting for that to turn up on Youtube
Also, Luca Filippi won in the GP2 Feature race despite not competing in any form of racing (although he was meant to be running the IndyCar series this year after Indy) for 12 months

Okay race.
Hamilton makes all the British people wet their pants. Perez gets close again but just had too much time to make up in too little laps...Really want to see him win for Sauber before Ferrari tries to get him.
Red Bull falls to pieces faster then a Torro Rosso suspension break and nice racing overall.

Hamilton was pacing himself to the end of the race, same as what Button did in Belgium a week ago. If there were 5 more laps Hamilton would've gone a bit faster to accomodate for that. No point pushing really hard if you're not going to be threatened.

Additionally, at the pace Perez was running I would doubt the tyres could last another 5 laps
