I think Dale Jr. just gave the race to Jimmie.

I don't think I've ever seen a tire detonate like that before. It destroyed everything. Even the inner liner was gone

overall, this race was actually pretty exciting. Some of the restarts were tense, Dale Jr. made a great recovery from the back to finish 4th and good win for Biffle. Right now, it's still all to play for to be locked into the Chase.

That's gut-wrenching for Jimmie, like the guy or not, especially since he was leading in the final laps.

A race that I'll probably won't remember all too much except for Martin spinning into the pitwall.

If Brad can't win, I'll take a Biffle win any day. Hard to dislike a guy like Greg Biffle. Truly is a class act.

Overall, this was a pretty good race today. Too bad Smith got wrecked early. The team had been on a roll recently.

I give Kvapil and Gilliland nods today. They had all around good, lead lap finishes.

I think the underdogs had a chance to show what they really got today, and they did (well some of them).

He generally is. Last year's fight with Boris was the exception. Biffle had no business starting a fight over that, it was a racing incident.

I agree with Bart, I don't really find Biffle all that interesting, don't hate himjust an uninteresting driver.

Pretty okay race at Michigan for once, although it was pretty wrecked-filled surprisingly.

My body was completely fine for Fontana and Pocono, but nooooooo I had to fall asleep and miss this race in it's entirety
So from what I've heard on Facebook, and from what I've seen from one YouTube video.
Greg Biffle won
Ambrose finished 5th, the only wildcard contender to finish in-front of Newman.
Gordon blows up
Jimmiedoesn'twinlol
Mark Martin nearly gets killed pit-road
Travis F***ing Kvapil finished 15th

Anything else I missed, apart from most people shitting on Labonte (ERIC) for some reason?

EDIT: Trips, check'em

Poor Trevor Bayne had a Top 10/15 finish in hand before that crash.

Oh, and if a certain someone keeps finishing poorly, they might fall out of the Top 20 in points altogether. Guess who that is?

I'm just saying he's not done anything noteworthy since at the very least 2003-2005. Sure he got 2nd at Daytona in 2011, but that same race was won by Trevor Bayne and look where he's gone. (Although in his defense he has shit-tier luck)

Yep. He's 18th, 29 points ahead of McMurray; 34 ahead of Burton. Those aren't big margins at this rate. I'm saying he falls out of the Top 20. Hornish will win a race somehow in that 22 car, and Penske is really gonna have a tough decision to make.

I am just waiting to see NASCAR's latest safety mandates... oh I don't think those pit road gaps will be lasting too much longer.

I wouldn't advise them to use monster truck tires; you'd get something like this, but much worse:

It's the entrance to the garage so i expect it to stay, though i do see them putting on some kinds of barrier on the ends of the walls.

It was a freak accident for the most part.

In defence of NASCAR and MIS, did anyone really expect someone to fly down pit road that far?

Ken Schrader- 2003 Daytona 500 - Newman wreck.

Anyway, if im Nascar im would go with this approach. (I know im not the best at photoshop)/ Curve the oncoming wall inward.
