Found this on my hard drive....

I was going through old things I had painted for NR2003 and I found this...



If I remember correctly it was for a minor league, but I'm not sure which one.


I moved pretty much everything I had to an external hard drive... but I did keep this on my computer, I thought it would be fun to go back to it.

I do remember painting this though, I got the base from taking a screenshot of the old Cheeseburger in Paradise website... but I just visited their website again and it has changed. I do like the base that it has though.

I definitely want to do something different with the numbers. Any other suggestions?

Im fairly certain it was for my old C.A.R.S series I ran in 2009. I really wish I could run that series again. It was even In-canon according to Ceej lol (Check his 09 Rookie Shootout video)

Woody, I like your cars and bases, but I always think that the text on the rear panels is too small for some reason.

You could always enter this as a Watts Motorsports car in RROL But if you did it would need a number change.
And I love this car, btw. I think the numbers look fine, and Cheeseburger in Paradise? Pure. Awesomeness. Their chocolate nachos are the best.

This car isn't finished, but here is a little info on the changes I made...

When I went back into the file, the base and company logos were piled into the same layer. So I ended up making my own Cheeseburger in Paradise logo with fonts that looked close enough to the logo I had. I'll post that by itself with the next update so that it is easier to see. I scrapped the old numbers and used one of the fonts from the logo, but I'm still not that happy with them.

I still have to do some work with how the base lines up on the front and back of the car. I goofed with the base on the driver's side, the lines are supposed to angle down toward the back of the car, as shown on the right side of the car. I should probably add some more sponsors on the car... I was thinking Margaritaville, but I wasn't sure what else to add, any suggestions?

It looks like your numbers and logos are below the overlay layers, and they're getting washed out because of it.

Well, if you plan on putting this in a TM Canon series (RROL is the only one with this mod though!), then I would say put Delano on it. If not, put Coca-Cola on it. I know it doesn't reallt match the scheme, but I know CiP serves Coke products, so that would be a possibility. Margaritaville would be a good one, for obvious reasons.

I added Margaritaville, Land Shark Lager, and Mailboat Records as sponsors (basically all things owned by Jimmy Buffett).

I still have a bit of work to do lining things up at the corners, but I like what I have so far. I forgot to mention last time that I used at technique that I've seen Snake use that I always really liked, extending the logo on the rear of the car onto the back of the spoiler.

Still not quite lined up on the back....

I'm going to try to put what I have in-game so I can see how it is lining up on the back a little bit better... I'm having a hard time trying to see how far off it is with this render.

You can't use carviewer to fix up the lining issues?
