Both Street Stock divisions make their way to Rockford for the National Championship. Bradley Carlisle and Taylor Matthews are the contenders for said championship, who will win?

Spoiler:

Jeff Little will start on the pole.

Danielle Wood pulls it into the pits before the first lap.

Taylor Matthews had a terrible start to this race, I hope it doesn't affect her chances.

On the other side, Bradley Carlisle is off to an awesome start.

Three wide in turn 3...

...

...Doesn't work.

Restart on lap 8.

Coming to the green, Evan Lexar is stuck in the wall.

Kerry Rodriguez spins trying to miss him.

Restart lap 14.

Frank Azzaretto is running rather well. His season was usually marred by crashes and mechanical failures.

John Alexander and Jim Thompson are side by side.

Restart lap 24.

Taylor Matthews is just outside the top 10...

Well, not anymore.

Into the wall she goes.

Jim Thompson adds insult to injury. She is officially out of contention for the National Championship.

Jeff Little pits from the lead.

Shenanigans during the restart.

During all of this, Frank Azzaretto took the lead.

Unofficially, Bradley Carlisle is your 2013 National Champion, and he's running in second.

another Caution for Jim Thompson spinning.

Azzaretto once again leads on the restart.

Tristan Bayne is haveing the same luck as usual. He's going to be back next year and I hope his luck turns around.

Jeff Murray and Mike Malone get together.

Brenda Riggs pitwalls it.

Another restart.

More Restart Shenanigans.

Restart.

John Alexander takes the lead.

Ricky Sellers is somehow running in 6th.

Ninth and final caution.

Alexander leads on the restart.

Aaron Singer is running third.

Bradley Carlisle has no hood, but he pretty much has the National Championship.

Ricky Sellers somehow makes his way to third.

Nobody will be able to catch John Alexander as he win the Rockford 75.

DUH, SPOILERS:

Matthews irate after incident ends title hopes

It was an opportunity that Taylor Matthews had been waiting for since she clinched the ARLA Street Stocks East division championship: the opportunity to take on Bradley Carlisle to settle the National Championship.

Thanks to a backmarker, though, she never got that chance.

Matthews was dumped by Curtis Smith, Jr. - coincidentally, a West Division regular - on Lap 25, sending her into the inside retaining wall, handing Carlisle the championship essentially by default.

Matthews was understandably livid, throwing her helmet at Curtis Smith's car as it passed by her disabled Lycoia under pacing. She had to be ushered to the ambulance for the mandatory health check by series officials.

The trip to the care center did little to calm the younger sister of Elite Series regular Ryan Matthews' temper.

"I don't know what the hell that punk Curtis Smith thought he was doing," she said. "That fucking guy outright dumped me, and he cost me a shot at the damn title! I hope to God the officials do something about that guy, because if they don't I will. I may be a girl, but I can and will kick his ass."

Matthews was ushered back to the team hauler by her brother, where she remained the balance of the evening.
