LOL @ Newman bumping Joey Logano out of the way.
Brad and Kyle have been making this battle for the lead somewhat interesting.
My opinions on this race otherwise:

California was the worst race of the year. Texas was ok and even tonight was ok.

Long green flag runs are so terrible. Especially that 81 lap green flag run at Sonoma. That was the most boring piece of NASCAR racing ever.

Re: 2012 Quaker State 400 - Sprint Cup Series
Wrecks are a good way of bringing the pack together & forming closer racing. Example: 2010 Bathurst 1000. I almost fell asleep trackside because of the 80-something lap green flag run they had, which was a display of how boring the racing was. Even a yellow flag period would be nice. Also, without wrecks, the coverage is, well, terrible. Same race was broadcast about 30 minutes behind the live action.Cynon wrote:antknee wrote:you guys are right, races suck without wrecks.

Races suck when there's so little passing on the track. That's my problem with tonight's race. The only reason wreck-filled races are entertaining is for the comedic value alone. Do i think every race should be wreck-filled. Hell no, People can get out if there fans of just the wrecks aloneantknee wrote:you guys are right, races suck without wrecks.
Infineon might have been better if we had a competent TV package that doesn't show the same god damn commercials every 3-5 minutes and show as little race as possible.

Tell that to the TV stations that show the races who only care about the money income

The back to the future thing 2 sense because the date that it went to in the show was June 27, 2012.
You wonder why guys like Tomas Scheckter, Dillon Batticini, Jay Howard, or Vitor Meira aren't in the IZOD Indycar series anymore? You wonder why David Reutimann or Mike Skinner aren't in NASCAR? They didn't get fired, there still within 15 minutes of Kentucky Speedway.
For the record, before they installed another exit, Mid Ohio had an issue with that kind of thing. I'm pretty sure that Ben Devlin is somewhere on Steam Corners Road.

that is not true, the date they went back was October 21st 2015, not June 27th, 2012, if you watched all three movies, you'd know this.

F1 rarely has a big enough accident to bring out a full safety car caution period, and people on this forum have been raving about those races, haven't they?

This just proves to me if someone is a fan of the BTTF movies or someone who just says they are.
