Sargento 200 - NASCAR Nationwide Series

Road America, so far in the two years before, saying that this race has stirred up the pot is an understatement. Last year produced one of the wildest and most controversial finishes in the series history. Some of the names that are reportedly running this race is bound to make this year's running just that much crazier. Nelson Piquet, Jr. and Miguel Paludo have been called on to drive 2 of the Turner Motorsports cars for this event, and Victor Gonzales, Jr. has been picked up by RAB Racing. How will the drivers of the NASCAR Nationwide Series handle the 4-mile road course in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin this time around? The race is on Saturday at 3 PM on ESPN!

jayski says 30 %, weather.com says 40%. and it says scattered thunderstorms, so yes, rather unlikley.

They stopped it when it got to the point where everyone was hydroplaning under yellow.

i have no idea who the 75, 26 and 23 are.

Already looked up the 75, 26, and 23. The 26 has the most experience. John Young ran two Nationwide races previously on road courses, Mexico in '07 and Phoenix in '08. Oddly enough, he completed 32 laps in each. He also has 12 Truck Series race with one top 10. Next up is the 75 of Kenny Habul, who has seven NASCAR Canadian Tire Series starts from when the series was still CASCAR. In seven starts, he had a best finish of third. Then there's Bill Prietzel, whose appearance on the entry list scares the living hell out of me. First off, I had to Google him just to find him, because he has no experience what so ever in any of the major racing series that Racing-Reference cover. What I found about him is not very good news. From what I can tell from pictures of him, since his bio doesn't have year of birth, he is close to Morgan Shepherd's age. Not only that, but his only experience comes from small oval tracks in Wisconsin.

EDIT: I did some more research, he will be 60 in September, it's still his 40th year driving though.

So from what you're saying, Bill Prietzel makes Kevin Conway look talented. I'm curious to see how Kurt Busch will do for his first time at Road America.

I wouldn't go that far with it, but yes, he has less experience than Conway.

He's not experienced but it doesn't he mean he's a fail driver................................................yet.

Atleast there's no Doug Harrington.

doug harrington was the worst driver last year, although he brought out the caution that lead to all the fun and games last year.
