Well I meant what happened on the restart, but now I know what happened there.
Re: 2012 Toyota/Save Mart 350 - Sprint Cup Series
Kurt did a great job out there, hadn't he have problems at the end of the race he could of won it.
and to the people who thought Bowyer wasn't going to win another race with MWR....I laugh at you.

I think he might've had one or two more wins, but at Sonoma? That was not expected.

Re: 2012 Toyota/Save Mart 350 - Sprint Cup Series
For once, A quite lackluster road course race. Just typical of this Nascar season. A few funny/exciting moment and a nice battle towards the end, but that was it. Bowyer gets the win, So much for 23rd all day erday like predicted last season.
TNT with the worse coverage of the year by far. Missing tons of incidents, feed failure, COMMERCIALS EVERYWHERE!....I think i saw more commercials then racing today.
Not looking forward to Kentucky at all.

Just wait for ESPN's turn to take Coverage.
Re: 2012 Toyota/Save Mart 350 - Sprint Cup Series
Kurt made his move to soon but Bowyer did a great job holding him off. Gordon's luck continues...I was convinced he would win today.

This and road 'merica were the only nascar races i've actually seen all year. Goes to show how much i've cared for this season. Just doesent feel the same as it used to be.

Daytona is just as boring as any other race. Everyone was saying that they couldn't wait until Sonoma...well, was it all that you expected?

I must admit, I think I would have felt better for the 51 team if someone like Landon Cassill was still driving. But come on, the 2004 champion and defending winner, he had a decent shot at a top 5.

The Sonoma race as I said, was incredibly boring to begin with because it was mostly caution-free. In the final 20 laps or something like that, the battles for positions were heating up. But when the Green-White-Checkered came, Bowyer just checked out from the rest of the field when I thought Kurt Busch would win. I don't think Kentucky will be very exciting, but hopefully the Daytona race will be very entertaining.

The difference between Montreal and Sonoma? Montreal has delivered EVERY... SINGLE... TIME.
And this year will be no different.

Dunno, I thoroughly enjoyed this race, especially the 81 lap green flag run.
Hated the terrible coverage, apparently there were as many as 3 spins that TNT missed.

1.) I completely agree. The race was very good. Just because there aren't cautions doesn't mean it's a bad race.
2.) How long have I been saying that? They've done this since I started watching NASCAR on a regular basis in '04. They never have good replays of anything except a lead change, and I wasn't surprised that they had terrible coverage.

Definitely agree on both points. Although the coverage was about par for the course, sadly.

Decent race, terrible coverage.
I like how everyone said that Bowyer was committing career suicide by going to MWR, meanwhile he's been doing better than he did at RCR last season. Also, Vickers in the top 5. The team better enjoy it, because that car won't crack the top 30 next week.

That and they missed the waving of the white flag to show JEEEEWWWWWNYEEEEERRR spinning. In slo-mo. Twice. Last I checked you were supposed to wait until after the checkered flag to replay last-lap shenanigans.

I don't think anyone saw a MWR resurrection.racingfreak1999 wrote:Decent race, terrible coverage.

Horrid coverage, decent commentary. TNT still needs to flip-flop Ralph and Adam though.

I thought the commentary was bad as well in all honesty...I don't think Kyle should be up there, he's just not a good commentator IMO.

Sonoma can have it's good races, but it's usually pretty hit or miss. From the sounds of thing I'm glad I took a nap instead of watching, especially since the only one of my picks to do well was Tony Stewart

I heard something about the guys in the booth not looking forward to working with each other and apparently it did show sometime in the race.Rykia_RKXK wrote:Mother of Invention wrote:Cynon wrote:Dunno, I thoroughly enjoyed this race, especially the 81 lap green flag run.

Ryan's most likely fired. Since i imagine Gibbs doesn't like people talking smack about his cup drivers.
Cool to see Logano blowing his win away in a couple of races.
