Chris Colmes Inbox
This is basically the equivalent of Robin Miller's mailbag on SPEEDTV.com
If anybody has a question send it to me with a name and hometown. I'll make questions for now...
Q: A lot of people have been talking on the blogs and forum about the rumors that the Manticore cars are illegal. What do the drivers that you've talked to think about this
-Jake Koch - Anapolis, MD
CC: A lot of the people in the paddock have their suspicions. Many of the Saar drivers and team personal have their suspicions. Any of the Manufactures Association people seem to be as well. CT said that he was suspicious of the Manticore cars, and Matt Taylor said the same of Kuzzie's car.
Q: When will Cletus McGuffie and Billy Bob Bradburn start winnin' races in ARLA. They're really cool guys an' I wanna see 'em win!!!1
-Billy Bob Bartley - North Ridgeville, OH
CC: Cletus McGuffie may have some speed on local dirt tracks but I don't think he's any match for Andy Pearson, James West, Kevin Monroe, Jason Bates, Edwin Schwarzlowski, Leslie Riggs, and their like. I can't see him or Bradburn winning a race unless something really weird happens.
Q: I've heard you use a lot of nicknames on your blog over the years. I'm not sure what they mean. Could you explain them? Thanks.
-Matt Best - Tulsa, OK
CC: Sure thing!
TexasTony - Tony Durbin
HodgePodge - Alan Hodges before he got good
TGDD - The Great Derek Dudding, ARLA's village idiot
Crash and Drama - Azuma Kazeyama
CT - Cameron Taylor
Triple J - Jacob Jarrett Junior
I'll say more when I can think of them.
OCC: Bonus points go to who can identify which of those nicknames was a direct Robin Miller reference.

Re: Chris Colmes Inbox
TGDD is a direct reference to TGBB which is "The Great Brian Barnhart". CT is kind of like PT for Paul Tracy.

Yes and Yes
PM the questions to me
And yes it's a Barnhart reference. CT kind of is to but that is unintentional.

Re: Chris Colmes Inbox
Thought I would give you a couple submissions.
"With some of the full-times failing to qualify for Karjala, does this mean in the
later one-off race at Indy we could see the same thing happen?"
Chris Tyler
Indianapolis, Indiana
CC: I would guess you would see less at Indy because the one offs there tend not to be experts on the Indianapolis track. However someone major will still DNQ
"Who would you consider the underdog as of right now for the TMMCS championship?
Tim Smith
Decatur, Illinois
CC: It's hard to see HotRod as a underdog, but Leonid Roderick's drive for five has been written off by many this year. Don't be surprised if he wins.
Q: Who do you think is underrated in the Master Cup series?
Thomas Gruber - York, PA
Dan Mackay is considered by many to be crap, but he is truly a good driver stuck in underperforming equipment. Louis Kingston is also underrated. He's 85% of a superstar. If he can find the remaining 15% watch out.
What track in Texas is the best for racing?
Mark Sheldon - Texas City, TX
That's a tough question. It defiantly is not Texas World Speedway, those races can be rather boring. I would say Fort Worth. It can have boring races, but it can defiantly produce good racing.
What ever happened to Danielle Dudding?
Robin Ziebarth - Cleveland, OH
TGDD's wife hasn't been in a race car since the 2010 Rockford 200 where she drove for Tom Delgado's MRD Motorsports organization. She greatly outperformed her husband.

Do you think Scott Steudler's hot start to the season is an abberation, or do you think that his talent is finally coming out with a good, stable team?
- Mark Wenger, Denver, CO
CC: That is certinally a difficult question. The thing that I find interesting that CJ spanked Steudler as teammates last year. But this year, it's been the opposite while they are again teammates. I think that the new spec cars are ones that Steudler excel at. So to answer your question I think he will sustain his performance, at least for now.

Q: What is this about an MCMA boycott of Michigan
- Darren Stacey, Dearborn, Michigan
CC: The MCMA has a legitimate grievance. But a race boycott would be disastrous for ratings, but great for the guys at the back. Overall they'd be taking it too far.
Q: Is Leonid Roderick really heading to PSI?
- David Westmoore, Topeka, KA
CC: I hope not. It would be a disastrous move that would send his career into a nosedive. PSI is a strong team, but Roderick would be a poor fit for that team.
