Sharp edges and points?
Anyone got any tips on how to maintain the sharpness and integrity of edges and points?
I have PSP 10 (or X as it is officially listed.)
I'm tired of all my stuff having to use rounded edges, corners, and points.
Any help?

Re: Sharp edges and points?
I have X2, so it probably isn't the same thing, but:
If you look at the Line Style palette you should see something that says Join. Make sure it's showing a pointed corner (as opposed to a rounded one). Then just adjust the miter limit to what works best. (I have mine set to 30.)
(This is, naturally, for the line tool.)

Thanks for the tip, but I was unable to find anything in the help feature/index using any of the words you used above.

Don't mean to bump, but I'm having the same problem in GIMP. If someone knows how to do it there, I'd appreciate it

A simple way to smooth rough selections is using "Select->Distort...". With a Spread value of zero, the Smooth parameter will determine how much the edges of your selection will be "rounded" (the Granularity option has less of an effect when the Spread is zero, but can matter for large images).
This is roughly equivalent to feathering the selection (with the Smooth parameter specifying the amount of feathering), sharpening the selection, and then feathering the selection by "1".

I'm still having trouble doing this, is there a good walkthrough on this somewhere that you know of?

Sorry for the delay on this, but I was having problems that eventually lead to the crash. This is what I'm seeing. It doesn't look like I have the same things that you seem to have showing.

Snake, you have to be clicked on the pen tool to have that option.

Aaaaahhh. Thanks, I don't use that tool very often as I'm fairly terrible using it. Maybe I can make some headway now.
