Being that there's some bias of me caring about this event, yes. Eldora Speedway is a little over an hour from where I am and most of the people in my school follow dirt racing. And not for nothing, they pack in at least 10K fans into the track, which is huge for a short track.

So the people in Australia get to watch it for free while everyone else in the U.S. has to pay $25 to watch the race on HBO Pay Per View, which costs just as much as 1 ticket if you plan on going there. Go figure. Rolling Eyes

EDIT: Then again, this is all for charity, so really, this is all for a good cause.

That does seem kind of weird that it isn't on Mainevent (the ppv channel here). Although the race is on Pay TV, and you have to buy an extra package to get the channel it's on.

Cause my mum only gets $600 a week because she works 3 days a week.

If you lived around Ohio, you would think differently. I got back from Eldora and it was a hell of a time there. There was not a single lap in the feature race where there wasn't a battle going on. I loved every second of it and I would definitely go back next year.

I wish they would actually cover it on Speed. It is the closet thing Ohio has to a Nascar Race. I got an idea, why don't we put Nascar on Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport. I actually wonder how the race would be.
