Indy Car Political B.S.
There's been a lot of talk on what's been going on for the past few hours or so:
@RBIndyCar (Randy Bernard): it is true that an owner is calling others trying to get me fired. I have had several owners confirm this. disappointing
@JennaFryer: My count: 3 owners, 1 former CEO, 2 team managers and a former champion. Goodnight.
@JennaFryer: FWIW, it ain't Roger Penske. He re-confirmed his support of @RBINDYCAR and ended the silent treatment with a Friday peace treaty.
Apparently, Chevy team owners started this whole rumor up that they intend on getting Randy Bernard fired. I really hope all of this isn't true.
This. Is. Infuriating.

Wasn't Bernard the idiot who decided that it was fine to try and run a race in a light rain at New Hampshire?
If so, that's politics I can live with

Yay lovely politics. I legitimately wish this leads to nothing of importance but odds are it won't. -_-
They're having a pretty good season, No need to buzzkill it with silly politics.

That was Brian Barnhart. Randy Bernard is the guy who said it was a good idea to put more cars than they run in the Indy 500 on a track one mile shorter than Indy for promotional reasons. He's also the guy who, in a single interview, said he wanted a 40+ car entry list for Indy this year, then, in the same interview, said only 34 cars will get an engine.

Re: Indy Car Political B.S.
I have a few hunches on two of the guys who want Bernard fired. Panther Racing owner Barnes and Michael Andretti.
Re: Indy Car Political B.S.
What people need to realize is that Randy has done a lot more for Indy Car in 3 years than Tony George has done in 15 years. It's pretty selfish what the Chevy team owners are trying to do, IMO.
Oh yeah. I forgot to add why this is taking place. Someone asked Jenna Fryer what the reasons were people were trying to get Bernard fired and this was her response:
@JennaFryer: @tonytellez Turbo, fines, not getting their way, not liking Beaux, not liking Will Phillips, sponsorship difficulties.

So in other words, he still is an idiot, I was just thinking of the wrong one.
As I said, if so, that's politics I can live with

Doesn't matter whether he's helped Indy Car or not, he was responsible for the death of Wheldon. He got what he wished-"carnage" and incorporated danger into the sport.
