I did do this late at night and didn't have all the drivers memorized, or if I did I had the wrong driver memorized.

Dick Johnson ought to be in the #39.
In a race with a lot of lead changes, I personally don't like to cover every single one of them. It's a good start, though.

you should try CenturyTel for a internet connection. it's not too fast, but it works fine for me. limited bandwidth? all i now is that it dosen't have it.

In a bit of a surprise, rookie Thomas Nash grabbed the pole for the Texas 500 in his #7 Quaker State Bolden Chaser. He cruised around the 1.5-mile track just outside of Fort Worth for the majority of the race, trying to stay out of trouble with most of the leaders. Nash, known as "Tommy" in the garage area, impressed many fans, bringing his Chaser home 9th, one lap down. He sustained some damage from an earlier incident, but he was able to maintain the leader's pace for much of the day. The Texan, racing out of Houston, showed that he could possibly be a contender for the championship after this run, though it is still awfully early.
"What an incredible day! I'd first like to thank Quaker State and TornadoVideos.net for supporting us. We're a small team, and with me being an owner-driver, it's really hard nowadays to find sufficient sponsorship. We had a great car, but we gained some damage to the front end, which hurt our aerodynamics slightly, and we fell a lap down. It's a shame, because we were able to keep up with the leaders for most of the race, too," Nash said.
He was then questioned about the other drivers and the quality of the race.
"It's amazing to be on the same track with former TMMC drivers. I mean, I would root for these guys back home, and I feel almost like a kid seeing these guys day after day here in the garage. There were some other drivers out there that I thought were driving, er... questionably. I don't know, maybe it's nerves of racing in the biggest race of the season, or if it's just the speeds that's causing some of this stuff to happen. I also liked how long this race was. With the green flag runs, it was pretty fun to dice with some of the veterans."
He then congratulated Bill Calhoun on his upset Texas 500 victory.
"Congrats to Bill, man. He ran up front and was real quiet until it became crunch time. He drives for a small team, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some sponsorship on that car pretty soon."
Nash and his team will now head out east to race at the famed Rockingham Speedway next weekend.

Bill Calhoun entered the ASCC to refresh his racing career, but he got something much more; the checkered flag in the famed Texas 500. "I just can't believe it! that's all i can say! we did what we could, i ran quiet, and we're greeted by the checkered flag! it just feels amazing!"

It was a dream through the corners and the handling wasn't bad at all; loose enough to where I could turn. Great job! This team is fantastic!
