Dover's one of the tracks Harvick has not won at in any series. Not sure he'd be the favorite. Hornaday's won here before in Trucks, as has Brian Scott, who was a decent Truck Series before he mega failed in Nationwide.

Short field now. #14 and #60 withdrew.

Kevin Harvick won the pole WITH A NEW, TRACK, RECORD. Coulter outside pole, Hornaday, Sauter and Cale behind. NOM BENNIN heads up the moving chicane brigade.

Cale Gale just blocked Justin Lofton his teammate while a lap down allowing Harvick to take the lead...

true, but rain outs give drivers "wins" that don't mean anything, Joey Logano for example.

um, he won on merit. yes, he stayed out when harvick didnt, but he satyed up there though a series of green flag laps. This is different from logano winning in nhis in 2009 when he stayed out and then it never got back going.

Can I just ask what it is that makes NASCAR not be able to run in the rain (except for the occasional nationwide rain races on road courses)

beacuse rain tires arent dirt cheap plus its not safe.

Even with full wets on, the cars are just too fast and too big for wet weather racing.
