Kurt Busch back in the 1 car? Aw, shit. If he's leading on the last lap, just let him win, otherwise, he'll throw another block where there isn't one to be thrown, and take out the Top 20 this time...

It's mainly because last week, Koch decided to wreck his primary car in practice last weekend and Hill brings a sponsor...

If by a Daytona, you mean a last lap wreck that takes out the entire top 10 allowing the 11th place driver to pull off a massive hack, then yes, that has a completely legitimate chance of happening again.

Hill does a good job placing 30th every week. I assume Koch went all or nothing looking for speed.PKligBKFan wrote:Alta wrote:>Putting Blake Koch in start and park car over Trashy Hill and the Earnhardt no one cars about.

Blake Koch and Jeffrey Earnhardt will get a win before Timmy Hill, and if Timmy Hill manages to get a win, it'll be because either fuel mileage, or a rain out, I'm calling it right now.Alta wrote:>Putting Blake Koch in start and park car over Trashy Hill and the Earnhardt no one cars about.

I'm pulling for Mike Bliss. I think he's impressive: 10th in the standings and no sponsors. Although he has a great looking car:
If you don't have sponsors please make your car look this good. I'm looking at you Jimmy Means Racing.

Mike Bliss has Bandit Chippers on that car this week.

Difference is, Means doesn't have two awful Pay Drivers on his team plus another team that Start n Park's OR a start n Park Cup Team.

I agree with everyone on that list apart from Fontaine. Fontaine's good on the Superspeedways, unlike the others.

Because you don't need to be a fast driver to run well on a superspeedway in NASCAR, and Fontaine has some of the crappiest cars in NASCAR at his disposal.
I still say he's somewhat of an unproven quantity.

Yeah, cause he definitely hasn't done anything this year. And he definitely didn't win the pole for the last truck race.

Okay list for the most part, But remember the days of Townley being involved in one to two cautions per raceMother of Invention wrote:Ben Atkins wrote:Mother of Invention wrote:I can think of ten other drivers who have been worse then he is this year.

Paulie Harakka (Who has wreck more then Townley has this year): Can't argue with that.
Chris Cockrum = Give you that one, though the only time i've seen him be a moving chicane was Daytona. Other times he was anonymous.
Brennan Newberry: To anonymous to render a decision.
Tim George, Jr.: Eh about the same. Don't really give a crap about George anyway.
Chris Fontaine: Shit car. Other then that he's does what he cna do with that car.
Brian Silas: Eh...Yeah, Silas is a nobody.
Jennifer Jo Cobb: I could drive faster then her. So yes.

I'd love nothing more than to see him win it. Only thing that could be better is Bill winning the Cup race.
Malsam's been pretty decent so far this year. Not on pace with Bliss, but way outperforming McClure. (Granted, I could outrun McClure.) And Means does have a Cup team, they just haven't made the field yet.

In his first race back from a DUI, he wrecked J.R. Fitzpatrick and was pretty off pace. Yes, he has run so well this year. To add to this mayham, Josh Richards is in the 39. Richards caused a few wrecks last year in about 5 or 6 truck races for Busch. One of the wrecks he caused was in the truck race at Talladega. We are so screwed...

Only a 30% chance. We might get rain-shortened, but I doubt the race will be postponed.

Everything was rained out practice wise today. Practice will take the place of qualifying tomorrow and the lineup is set by points. Due to Kurt Busch's win last year at the Glen and last weekend, Blake Koch is the only DNQ.

If you don't have sponsors please make your car look this good. I'm looking at you Jimmy Means Racing.
Difference is, Means doesn't have two awful Pay Drivers on his team plus another team that Start n Park's OR a start n Park Cup Team.
So yeah.
Tayler Malsem isn't bad. Eric McClure is.

Figures. GOTTA LET JEFFEREY EARNHARDT RACE ONCE/MAKE TIMMY TRASH HILL REVELANT.
Don't get why practice is so important at TALLADEGA.
>Implying Rick Ware cares about Talent.
Seriously, ANY talented driver who goes to Ware is gonna get screwed over in favor of scrubs like Timmy Hill, who bring sponsorship money.
Jeffrey Earnhardt is living proof of this. How many years has he been a development driver for them and how many races has he actually run for them in the top three series? Actually glad to see him running this weekend.

Timmy Hill's usual [not the one he has on his car for this race] car number is the same as the population of his home town. Port Tobacco, Maryland has a population of 15, making it among the smallest towns in America.

yeah, because nobody wants to live in the same town as Timmy Hill.Alpineopossum wrote:Timmy Hill's usual [not the one he has on his car for this race] car number is the same as the population of his home town. Why does everyone hate Timmy Hill? He's not exactly competitive, but he's quite good at keeping his nose clean (in Nationwide, anyway), which when you're driving junk, is exactly what you need to do. Yeah, he got in on sponsorship money, but so did half the drivers in NASCAR these days. As long as he isn't wrecking the field every week, I got no beef with him.

Maybe there's some people that don't really follow him so much, which I mean that he's not a bad driver, it's just that some people don't really keep their eyes on him whenever he's out on the track.

That's not it at all. You really need to open your eyes and read what other people post here.

Well, I called a flip in yesterday's race. If my predictions are right, one will happen today.
