I think a certain thumbnail issue may have been why he didn't put it on here yet...

The way YouTube likes to do the thumbnails is really pissing me off.

Isn't there a way to set the thumbnails yourself?

Yeah, but when the video is embedded on a different website (such as here), the preview is the default thumbnail anyway.

Re: Race 5 (Balboa Boxers 200 @ Piqua)
If that's the case, then just provide the link instead of embedding the video. That should solve the problem... maybe. At the very least, the results of the first race won't be spoiled.

Scott Morales' luck becomes non existant after Piqua
"This is terrible, we're going to try and do some changes for Quincy, both for the car and personally. I'm going to seek redemption for both the 2011 season and this season, and if it pisses people off in the process, oh well."

Re: Race 5 (Balboa Boxers 200 @ Piqua)
As far as I can work out, it always seems like Race 2 produces the most cautions compared to Race 1.
Re: Race 5 (Balboa Boxers 200 @ Piqua)
That's because Race 2 consists of the drivers who finished in the bottom half of the field in the previous event, thus many crashers are in Race 2.BWardboy88 wrote:As far as I can work out, it always seems like Race 2 produces the most cautions compared to Race 1.
Re: Race 5 (Balboa Boxers 200 @ Piqua)
I was going to create this earlier this morning but I thought I would have gotten clubbed over the head with a bat.
Woodard has a mediocre day at Piqua, finishes off the lead lap.
Greg Woodard would finish off the lead lap but avoid any issues with drivers during the first round of the 2012 Balboa Boxers Ohio. He would later watch the failfest of round 2.

Race 1 = Smooth, clean race
Race 2 = OGM SMASHFEST TONS OF CARNAGE AND WRECKS
Tis a true story, and for some reason Teller somehow gets caught up in it -_-

It feels like the past ARLA Races when they were pretty much crashfests, and today is just no exception.

I just noticed something. Pause the video at 14:53, and you'll see what the pace car is. It's the Scooby-Doo Pace Van!

- Scott Scores His Second ARLA Series Victory at Piqua
Raibeart Scott and Evans Motorsports owner Anthony Evans were excited to land their second win in ARLA's Elite Series at Piqua. "Now, we've won on a roadcourse and an oval so our program is definitely coming together. We've been running up front for most of the season so we knew we'd get the win sooner or later," Evans stated from the Winner's Circle.

Howard Critical of Monroe, But Doesn't Hold Grudge
Towards the end of the second race in the Balboa Boxers 200 @ Piqua, MRD Motorsports driver Joseph Howard collided with M&J driver Kevin Monroe. Monroe, the defending ARLA champion, pulled up from the pit exit in front of Howard and the rest of the field.
Howard was critical of Monroe after the race but does not appear willing to carry a grudge.
"That was about the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Did he just forget that everyone else was there or was he not paying attention?" Howard said after the race.
"I'm mostly upset because I don't expect that from a guy like Kevin [Monroe]. He's a good driver, he can win races, he can race clean, but he just made a dumb mistake out there... everyone makes mistakes but that was a big mistake. I don't think I need to talk to him about it because I know him enough to know that this doesn't happen very often... we'll probably joke about it in a few months."
Enola Assumes Responsibility for Pit Collision, Claims Team Needs Discipline, Motivates Team
Former Marine drill sergeant Harry S. Enola was less than pleased with the conduct on the racetrack during the Balboa Boxers 200 @ Piqua. However, he was involved in a pit lane tangle with team owner Brenda Riggs.
"Stevie Wonder up there in the spotter's stand didn't tell me her pit was up there! Because he fucked up, I fucked up and turned Brenda Riggs! It's that simple!" Enola stated to the media.
"The Freedumb Missiles team accepts any penalty given down by commanding officers for our lack of discipline! When one person on this team fucks up, then we all fucked up! If we win, we all win! When we have discipline, we can be where we belong; THE FRONT!"

- Spoiler:
- Nikos Kastapolous was clearly unhappy with the events that occured Piqua,
"I felt like our car was awesome today but... I don't know, it just looks like our luck was a one race I guess.. Just looking forward to next race, keeping things a step at a time, a race at a time, but it just gets hard after a while when you got other rookies kicking butt out there."
Car owner Pete Carcia gave him some good words as they were walking to the trailer telling his driver "its alright bud, its only our first year doing this"

Matthews returns to form with top-10 run:
You could forgive Tiffany Matthews for thinking her account at the luck bank was overdrawn. After all, her last two races resulted in a blown engine and a scary wreck that sent her flipping at Road America.
But it was a different story at Piqua Fairgrounds, as Matthews avoided all the carnage in Race Two and came home with a seventh-place finish, her second top-ten of the season.
"Finally," she said with a huge grin on her face after the race. "With all the carnage in that race, I really thought I'd get caught up in it. Considering my recent history, it would've been a good bet."
"But I'm really happy to get another good run in," she added. "It's something we can build on heading toward Quincy."

Big points to CeeJ and f1fan for the North Ridgeville referance. As a resident of the Westside 'burbs of Cleveland (in the same town as f1fan), the Ridgeville jokes made me laugh out loud.

Wow. Those M&J drivers just couldn't keep themselves from causing incidents.

Yamada Content With 15th
After finishing his first race of the year, Makoto Yamada grabbed a 15th place finish. After the race, he stated, "The car got better as the day went along, and we actually got the finish we deserved this time. By the way, I apologize to however I hit on that last restart. I'm not sure who it was, but I expected his or her car to get off to a better start. Anyways, I am perfectly content with a 15th place run."

Hetsuno: Brillon is "like a child"
Shortly before the first practice session at Quincy, Illinois, MRD Motorsprots driver Kiriki Hetsuno spoke about the pit lane incident between her and M&J Racing driver Taylor Brillon at the Balboa Boxers 200.
Said Hetsuno, "I know that I bumped into [Brillon] and made her drop her drink before the race. She threw a tantrum like a child and she said that she would make me pay. I guess that is why she spun me."
Brillon herself seemed to be proud of her retribution, telling the press, "[Hetsuno] knows what she did. She's not gonna mess with me anymore!"
Brillon was penalized 50 points and will start the FABricators 250 from the rear of the field after the incident between her and Hetsuno.

Re: Race 5 (Balboa Boxers 200 @ Piqua)
"Wonder Woman" Wins Again!
Libby Bell has set two team milestones in as many weeks with her win at the Balboa Boxers 200. She became the first Power Steering, Inc. driver to win a race in back to back seasons last week and then became the first driver in the team's history to win back to back races.
Since Bell drives the star spangled Patriot Cola car, her teammates and others in the garage have taken to calling her "Wonder Woman."
"It's flattering to be called that, I guess. It sure beats the alternative," joked Bell. "But seriously, my crew has really been doing a great job for me. The Tonare Thunderbolt is awesome! I'm happy to set these new team marks and hope to set the bar even higher if I can. I'm definitely going for the trifecta next week too. I don't know if anyone in ARLA has ever won three consecutive races or not, but I'm going for it!" Bell exclaimed.
Can Libby Bell muscle her way in the winner's circle for the third straight time? I wouldn't bet against "Wonder Woman."

Re: Race 5 (Balboa Boxers 200 @ Piqua)
here's something else I want to say. The first race ran without any cautions. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but was the Appleton race of 2009 the last race in ARLA to run caution-free?
