Has anyone ever watched it, if you haven't, it is essentially, a video game version of Formula 1, that takes place on rFactor, I belive, I have never seen drivers as good as these online ever. They post race recaps, somewhat like Cy does with the TMMC, and post full races. Here is an example of their Season opener.

Oh gosh, I miss Rfactor. I literally drove days worth of track time with the Indy 1995 and F1 1988 mods. What a blast it was.

The only problem with implementing it with say ISRA is due to the fact that Rfactor takes more to run than NR03 thus some people would not be able to race. It would be epic though to say the least.

There are still those that are able to drive at speed with the F1 mods on rFactor, we could organise a race with them probably?

With the right amount of time, you can compete with these guys. At ISRA, I could never touch some of the top guys, now I'm able to battle Joe and Batista. It took me almost nine months of racing to get to that point. These guy have been racing for years on rFactor.

It's not the most difficult game in the world, I'm sure it's possible for at least 10 people here to be at decent speed? NetKAR Pro is probably one of those games non-drivers may struggle with though, that game is probably one of the best I have ever played.

Lol, I meant to say computer-wise, not literally. Shoulda clarified that a little bit better, haha. Laughing

You do make a good point however; the open wheel mods in Rfactor are very tricky to drive if you're still learning. It really teaches you fast that the gas isn't an on/off switch. I love the challenge though; running full races with the AI is a blast. It does take some time to master and they aren't for the faint of heart but it's a thrill.

However, the big problem is just that simply put, you need a pretty decent rig to run the sim at a reasonable level. That's what is holding a lot of people back.

Right, that is a shame. Would be interesting to see how many people here do own a copy of rFactor, or at least own a dedicated PC able to run rFactor.
