(Lomax is in the more 'redneck' part of Illinois, and I figured we could use at least one Gretchen Wilson style "Redneck Woman" in the field. I can't paint though, so someone would have to make the car. I picked the CCS car to make that a bit easier, since all it would need is a change of manufacturer and number from the one that comes with the game.)
And a change of mod
And new contigs
And a new number
But, yeah, other than that, totally simple

Compared to starting totally from scratch? At least in N3, I've found it to be generally easier if I have a baseline to work from. Then at least it only comes out as halfway horrible instead of totally hideous. It was just a random thought, anyway.

Durbin Looking to Partner with Another Driver in the 86
With backing from SkullCandy, Ike Durbin announced he had found the money to run a one-car operation. He did state, however, that he was looking for another driver to drive over half of the season.
Durbin's statement, "I'm really proud to have a sponsor like SkullCandy. They're a great company, and have given me the backing I needed to be able to support my team. At this point, I have agreed to run as many races as my TM Lights schedule will allow. I would like another driver in the car when I can't run. I have been in contact with a couple drivers, and pending getting a team slot, could run for the team. If one is not found, I could just support a team, providing the sponsor, or run a limited schedule with myself driving."
OOC: PM me if you would like to drive the 86 for at least half of the season/most of the races. Pending acceptance.

Thinking about changing the team name from "Power Surge America" to either:
A. Surge To Front Ultimate Racing or
B. Fire And Ice Racing -- because of the sponsors Blazing Saddles and Frostee Cream
Any thoughts?

#40 - Tim Woodard, 21, Illinois
Tim will apply for the last Ocean Motorsports slot, he served in the Navy, however, he didn't make it past the six month mark due to medical complications. He consistently attempted to join the second drive in Terra International Motorsports after Greg was taken on. However, due to his rather obvious disdain for Lycoia (Going so far as to push his dad's Sentinel XSA Sport, a gift from Greg himself, off into the Red River.) He was not allowed to drive for the team. So, in order to get a ride, he applied to Ocean Motorsports upon learning of the opening. He will often try to copy Greg's driving style, however, his aggressive behavior often gets the best of him, he has earned the name of 'Copycat' by other competitors back in the SNRA, where he was the second driver on Greg's old team before he [Greg] joined up with Terra International Motorsports.

Yeah, it'll go up pretty soon.
I have 39 drivers on the grid right now (40 cars). I've since added the 7, 16, 18, 23, 24, and 27 cars.
The ASCC will have a Chase (length TBD), and will use the current NASCAR points system.

Lester happy to drive for Bill Chapman, looks to stay in ASCC ranks for a while
Casey Lester: I'm stoked to be part of this new team for Bill [Chapman] in the ASCC for 2012. I'm honestly not a huge fan of our sponsor, but it'll do. The fans should get a kick out of it. *laughs* Aaron [Collins] and I are gonna be driving as teammates this year. I haven't heard too much about Aaron, but I think he'll be a great driver for this team. I'm not concerned of getting consistent Top 5's week in and week out, but as long as we get decent runs, say Top 20-Top 25's, we should have a good year.

Cameron Taylor Pondering Texas 500 attempt
Cameron Taylor commented on a possible run at the Texas 500. "I'm a road racer at heart. But the Texas 500 is an important race and I think I can do well in it. I've had some discussions about this, but in the past few days a few key supporters came on board. These new cars are really safe, which is important because the race has been a wreck filled one. I think I'll be there in the end of the race to fight for a good spot. I am not considering a switch to the ASCC. The TMMC and related series is where I'll remain. But I am willing to have a go at the Texas 500."
