2012 ARLA Elite Series car unveiled
(OOC: Most of you who talk to me on TeamSpeak know about this already)
Rumors of a new car for ARLA's top division started swirling when ARLA CEO Jen Walker took some test laps in a strange-looking Cromwell CS during the week of the season opener at Texas.
Coming into the weekend of the OX200 at Buffalo Downs, ARLA engineers confirmed those rumors by unveiling the new Elite Series body style in a press conference.

According to series officials, the new car is intended to resemble a super late model, in an effort to pay homage to the sport's short-track roots. It is also projected to be cheaper to build and maintain than the current car, as well as produce higher cornering speeds.
Saar, Lenard, Xenos, Karl, Inc., and Kivett have already submitted designs for 2012, and are pending approval. Volpi and Inglesby are rumored to be working on their designs, but there is no word on the plans of any other manufacturer currently involved in ARLA.
